We had a peaceful and lovely stay at Hi - Ein Gedi Hostel. It was safe and easy for solo travelers like us. We asked for a room with a sea view and it was breathtaking. The location was great, with easy bus rides to and from Jerusalem central bus station. We loved that the hostel was just a 5-minute walk to Ein Gedi National Park, and we also took the public bus to Masada and the Dead Sea beach. we highly recommend this hostel.

Location is very good. Near from bus stop and public beach.
Poor dinner, noisy by students.

The welcome was a little peremptory, but the room clean. Basic but comfortable. The evening meal was a good buffet, and the breakfast was excellent, in a very crowded breakfast area. If you want to visit Ein Gedi park this could not be nearer, and they offer a discount on entry

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. the location is amazing, situated in a very pretty area along highway 90 and very close to the Ein Gedi park. The view from the rooms is simply breathtaking, with large balconies that offer a beautiful view of the Dead Sea. Additionally, the hotel staff were friendly and provided great service. Lastly, the breakfast provided was delicious and enjoyed with a stunning view of the sunrise over the Dead Sea.
All was perfect, no improvements needed.

Perfect location at beach Dead Sea only 10 min. walking distance, however you need a car to go to the EIn Gedi Spa facilities. The food was very good!!!!! All rooms have Sea view. Good value for money, easy to find along route 90.
Nothing, all was good.

Spacious room, even for a group of 4 people it was not uncomfortable. Spacious personal balcony with view on Dead Sea, clean and warm bathroom, reliable WiFi connection, electric outlets everywhere --- everything a traveler needs. We arrived there only to stay overnight during our Israel trip, but we were regretting we were not staying there for more. Ein Gedi park nearby is the place to visit. And all that for a very nice price.
I think this place is convenient only for those who travel with their own car. The best Dead Sea beaches are located some 20 km to the south of Ein Gedi. But as a place to stay overnight it is very good for its money, even if you are looking for some comfort.

We had a fantastic stay at Hi , Ein Gedi! the location was excellent, right near the En Gedi nature reserve. Our private double room had a superb balcony view of the Dead Sea. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We loved starting our day with the all, you, can, eat breakfast and dinner. the food was quite decent, and there was plenty of choice. the staff, especially the manager Eyal, were extremely helpful and pleasant. the hostel was also well, equipped to cater to the needs of the handicapped and elderly. a pleasant surprise and we highly recommend it. Cons: Nothing bad to say. 🌟.

We had a clean comfortable room for low price, huge balcony with fantastic view to the Dead Sea. Quiet hostel, fortunately situated close to the entrance to the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve and 700-800 m walk to the Ein Gedi Beach (walking by paved pedestrian path along the road). Excellent breakfast, friendly personnel. Wild goats graze nearby and on the territory. Air condition, TV set with 1 Russian program, electric kettle, tea and coffee in the room. Apartment was cleaned and towels changed every day. The beach is free.
The hostel regularly receives big noisy groups of Israeli children for 1 or 2 nights and feeds groups everyday. It can bother other tourists if they occupy adjacent rooms, and definitely bothers to have breakfast or dinner at the same time. Dinner, opposite to good breakfast included, was for 15 USD per person and awful. Once we bought it and then refused. There is only one more place to eat near Ein Ged Youth Hostel: a buffet with sandwiches and hot dogs near the beach, working day and night. No food stores. Buses go once an hour and are enormously expensive for low distances.

It is a bit expensive - but I think still the best deal in this area.

This hostel is located in a beautiful area with stunning views of the surrounding nature reserve. the rooms are decent with clean bathrooms and convenient amenities. the homemade breakfast is tasty but simple with limited options. the staff is helpful, and they can offer discount coupons for some nearby attractions. the hostel has some recreational facilities that guests can use for free. A nice spot for a budget-friendly stay in a peaceful atmosphere.
The hostel can get busy, and the shared areas might be noisy, especially when large groups of youth guests arrive. this is understandable for a hostel and doesn't necessarily detract from the experience.

Location (fi you have a car) but even with public transport it is good for backpackers.
Nothing really. Would have been nice to have a washing machine available for guest use as the desert is a dusty place and clothes need washing.
